Colorful Wedding Cakes

Once upon a time there was a day when no one dreamed of having a colorful wedding cake.   All the marrying couples felt it too conspicuous or too nonconformist to display a cake with colorful layers and unique patterns. 

Most couples still keep with tradition and choose a white or ivory wedding, however, the time has never been better to show your true colors and show your guests what you really like.  The cake below is most appealing on an aesthetic level.  The blending of soft tones that graduate to a warm, pink layer on top is truly a vision of loveliness.  I imagine the bride and groom just loved the colors.  Perhaps they are symbolic, but perhaps they are just lovely.

I absolutely adore the following wedding cake.  Although I am unaware of any symbolic reference contained therein, it’s gorgeous.  The wedding cake was created for an East Indian wedding and features individual or smaller servings, as well as, a layer on top.  The intricate design combined with the colorful display is most attractive and entices the viewer to gaze for lengthy periods of time.  Beautiful!
